Self Supported vs Community Supported

My suggestion off the bat is to pick a date that coincides with an official IM race. Brett, this goes to our e-mail traffic earlier about training. The obvious benefi is that those not participating in the $$$$ race, can still train with their friends either in person or virtually and share in the 140dot6 experience. I would throw out the dates for IMLP and IM-Moo 2008 as targets.

It also opens up the opportunity for people living or planning to race in close proximity to share resource… Continue

Hey Coach...Im 3 weeks post IMC...and im 3 weeks away from what i hope will be a Boston qualifier marathon (OIM. Okanagan International Marathon). Considering i just ran 26.2 miles 3 weeks ago, with 1 1/2 weeks total rest post IM, should i do a "long" run this weeken? 16-18 miles...or should i just maintain my workouts to speed and high effort. I ran a 4:45 IM marathon, but i was suffering from bad headaches...i may not come close to my 3:15 qualifier but i want to give it my best shot...Thank's for any help or advice!

You didn't have to put "male" under your profile, Coach. I can tell you're male from all the junk hanging out from your jogging shorts.

Okay, Ive added music, photos, video and posted. This is pretty cool technology from a social networking standpoint. Very easy to use. I could do without some of the ads on the right sidebar. I added 140dot6 appropriate music to the mix. Also, is there a general posting area or are we all just creating yet another blog page that is personal to us? Lastly, what's the relationship with www.swimbikerun.com?
