looking for ideas

I have decided to run my own (just shy of )1/2 ironman the week of July 4th. I am looking for some saftey precautions as for where I should set up fueling stations. As it stands I will be biking by my house (mile 6) and plan on having one station set up there. the next rest area is about 7 miles later which is also where the midway point of the run. Aside from cash, cell phone and energy. What else should I pack.

Thanks for checking in. My race prep is going well although I have been easing back because of groin injury. I have never been a runner and am running 10 min miles for 14 miles 2-3x a week. I have picked up my biking although I havnet been as dilligent about keeping track of miles as I should be. I jumped into the lake twice this week and although I only swam about 1/2 a mile I am not all that afraid as the swim and bike have been my strong points for years. I have been experimenting with where to have aide stations. My swim is a 1/2 mile each way so my idea is to set up my bike at one end. As for the bike, I will be carrying a farley large cammel back aswell as water bottles and some food on the bike. At mile 25 aka my turn around aka my grandparents house, I will have a fresh supply of everything. my house will serve as T2 and I have spoken to the local Fleet feet which is at mile 2 and 10 and they will allow me to hydrate and store a gel or 2 with them. I plan on finishing up at my house and then going to sleep after refueling.

Big UPDATE!! Due to a nagging injury (stress fractures in both legs) I wont be racing this weekend. I am hoping to be back by the end of the month.
